    Comments:

I bought this bike after having a Diamondback Miravista that I liked a lot, but the frame was a little too small for me. So I was looking for a fitness style bike with good components, like the 700c wheels, easy fire shifters, aluminum frame, and needed the heavy duty wheels. so it was between the Trek 7.2 and this one. I rode them both and the Specialized was a better fit for me. I'm sure the Trek would have been a great bike too, but what can I say...I liked the RED, and the shape of the frame was cool too. I haven't had this bike long enough to comment on the durability, but its looks solid enough...We'll see!

      Comments:

I got this as a first time bike in several years to start riding to work(About 8 Miles). So far the bike is great. It reacts and hadles well. The only bad thing is how hard the seat is especially if you are a big guy which I am. But a seat cover fixes that up real quick.

        Comments:

I've had this bike for almost 4 years now and it's great. It's smooth to ride and very durable. It's never needed anything other than a minor tune up. Extremely light for its price, I'm 100lbs and have no problems carrying it up and down stairs. It has large wheels that are pretty thin and goes fast with minimal effort. A few minor cons, the seat is on the narrow side and not that comfortable. While great on paved roads, you can feel every bump on bad roads. The brake wires run along the frame and are not covered, so you have to be careful how you hold the frame. The biggest downside is that the frame is not linear in any way. This along with the brake wire placement makes it practically impossible to mount any accessories. I can't mount a U lock mount, no kickstand, no spoiler. Even just a bell and lights took a lot of creative thinking. If you're okay carrying everything in a backpack, this is not a problem. Overall, it's great for the casual, recreational riders and it gets you where you need to go fast. But not great for off road or as a work horse, if you need to carry a lot of stuff.

          Comments:

I have bicycled over 6, 000 miles per year for over 30 years using many different bikes. Bought the Sirrus from a neighbor who was moving. I only used it on pavement, but after several thousand miles I have not had to adjust anything. Put aero bars on it so I could use it as a back up for group rides. For the money it is a great cross over bike.

          Comments:

I have the 2007 Sirrus. I was used to mountain bikes and wanted bike to ride road. I was not ready for a full road bike so the Sirrus made sense. It can be configured as a flat bar road bike or made into a more off road capable bike with just some wider tires with tread and climber bars. If you can only own one bike, this could work well. I just did a 40 mile road race with it and it was fast and comfortable. I only added 23mm tires, clip pedals, aero bars and a different seat. Only problems have been with the Alex R500 rims. I am 220lbs and the rims just can't take the stress. They have gone out of true and loosened up several times. If you are a lightweight, you probably won't have this issue.

i bought this sirrus in Red....and i love it. on my first day out, i rode 35 miles, and i did not feel those miles at all. the seat is very comfortable( my butt was not sore at the end of the ride!!!), the bike is light, and fast. however, my only problem is the pedals...i am already upgrading them with the shimano pd-m520. i also put a wireless cyclo-computer from cateye. i bought this bike from Orangecycle in Orlando,fl. great place to do business with....great people and a lot of bikes to choose from!!!
