Ride what the pros ride with Bontrager's inForm Team Issue D2 saddle. Designed for and in collaboration with the pro riders of Leopard Trek and RadioShack, the inForm Team Issue saddle delivers advanced ergonomic support and comfort, just what you need when a day at the office means six hours in the saddle. Zone Density padding gives you extra cush where you want it most and is firmer where you need proper skeletal support. To keep the weight down, it's equipped with a full carbon base and Ti rails. The genuine leather cover is a premium touch and adds to its comfort and durability.
Great saddle. Trek's Aliante copy--sort of. Really, it is more like a very light more cushioned Selle San Marco Regal and that is high praise, indeed. The Ti rails and the carbon shell provide a great suspension that is not too flexy and not too soft. The middle of the saddle is very cushioned and the shell underneath the middle is very thin--so that part of you is cushioned without a cutout. The saddle is more comfortable than the Fizik Aliante, which is also high praise. The reason is that this saddle is less of a hammock--less sag in the middle--so it is easier to position level--so you don't slide towards the middle of the saddle. The saddle at retail list is very overpriced compared to most other carbon-shelled saddles. My LBS had a big sale for the display model that had been tried and returned (imperceptibly used) by another customer. So, for what I paid, I got an awesome saddle.
Bottom LineYes, I would recommend this to a friend
