]]>DR100 Charity Ride September 18, 2010http://www.bluewheel.com/upcoming-events/2010/2/23/dr100-charity-ride-september-18-2010.htmlRoger2010-02-23T21:52:04ZThis event is a memorial event for Dr. Joseph Mirenda who was struck and killed on a bike just 5 miles south of JMU on August 2009.  This ride will celebrate his life and love of cycling!  The Metric Century ride will be a one way trip from Wintergreen to JMU and the Half Metric will starting and finish at JMU CISAT.  A parallel event the DR5k will be a 5K run through JMU's beautiful campus.  Finish line festivities will follow all the events.  All proceeds will cycle into a James Madison University scholarship fund for the purpose of supporting students who exhibits dedication to helping others.  www.dr100.org
