Nortonsville

Follow west route out of town. Then follow Boonesville directions to Boonesville. At Boonesville keep straight on 810. Continue on 810 uphill past the cemetery and then downhill past the Good Shepherd of the Hills church on your right. Stay on the main road ((810) by bearing left at the church and continue on 810 through Blackwell’s Hollow and up the “continental divide” (the hill divides the county watershed). Down a fast, steep hill across a bridge and turn left at the intersection immediately after the bridge to stay on 810. (A right turn here would take you up a rocky dirt road into SNP and the Doyle’s River trail.) The next 5 miles is mainly flat to downhill- fast and fun! Stay on 810 to cross the Moorman’s River and climb uphill to Whitehall. Turn left for a short stretch on 810 then go straight on Garth Rd (614). You will pass Wyant’s store on your left. Don’t turn on 810 in front of the store but stay on 614. Stay on Garth Rd as it changes numbers from 614 to 676 to 601. You just go straight and follow the main road all the way back past Foxfield. Go down the good morning hill and make the right at the bottom (use caution and your brakes) onto 601 (Old Garth Rd. AKA 21 curves) Follow Sheba directions back to town.
To make this ride 70 miles, follow the Batesville directions from Whitehall.
