Everyone was up at o'dark thirty out getting things ready for the race. Cold, wet weather was hanging over the course in the early morning hours... not a great sign. Add to the weather some unexpected broken glass over a a stretch of the course, resulting in a rash of flat tires, and the organizers were a bit worried. But the day of racing came off surprisingly well. There were very few riders who did not show up and the morning races, although challenging, went on as close to schedule as could be expected. As the day progressed the weather broke into a georgous afternoon and by the time the 2:30 Cat 1/2/3 races started it was beautiful. Click on the picture to view or download the race results.
